About Samyak Vikas Sanstha...

Since the latter half of the half of the twentieth century sustainable and equitable development has received increasing attention and is of special importance in the Indian context as the country has reached the take-off stage in the path of development. There has been growing concern about both these issues in the last couple of decades and there is general agreement that these issues need to be examined in depth, analyzed and addressed in all our developmental programmes and projects.  In this background, Samyak Vikas Sanstha (SVS), a Society, which is dedicated to sustainable and equitable development of the country, has been set up. It is a ‘not for profit organization’, and has been promoted by persons who have been engaged with developmental activities in various sectors throughout their careers. The Society’s objectives are wide covering activities for sustainable socio-economic development of the country and the areas receiving special attention include the following: -
